Gregory T. Howell is the President of G&V Electrical Contractors, Inc., bringing more than 25 years of progressive leadership in the electrical industry. Since founding the company in 2001, he has overseen its growth into a respected provider of commercial and residential electrical contracting services throughout the Chicago area.
Gregory’s expertise spans operations management, project estimating, revenue generation, and cost control, with a proven record of strengthening profitability and building long-term client relationships. Under his leadership, G&V Electrical has secured major accounts—including work with the Chicago Housing Authority—while cultivating a strong internal culture that promotes leadership development and advancement from within.
His career began with two decades as an apprentice and journeyman through IBEW Local 134, where he built a solid foundation in electrical construction and maintenance. A graduate of Coyne College’s Electrical Construction and Maintenance program, Gregory pairs technical skill with business acumen, ensuring that every project is delivered with efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction at the forefront. Today, Gregory continues to guide G&V Electrical Contractors with strategic vision, operational discipline, and a commitment to excellence, establishing the company as a trusted partner for clients and communities across Chicago.
